Bruce is the creative energy behind the Earthbound originals. He has been writing songs since he was 15. He is most comfortable writing in the blues/folk medium but has also written instrumental music and some more rock orientated originals.

Bruce writes from life experiences and incorporates a spiritual element in his music. Bruce’s ability to capture a moment then paint it in a song is truly unique. His ability to do this in a way that connects to others is what makes Earthbound originals so special.

At the end of 2005, Earthbound put together a short EP called TRY THIS ON (8 songs) as a gift to family and friends. We had a few left over so started to play more originals at gigs and sold what was left. This first EP was initially made as a few songs that seemed to sum up the year and we really had no intention of selling it. The songs are fairly mellow and we are working on another EP that won’t make people cry or put them to sleep. As it turned out, we’ve had such a positive response that we usually take a few CDs to our gigs and come home without any.
